HI,

I have a NRA SNODY and love everything about this blade but I never hear anyone mention them.
As a small EDC fixed blade I find it just about perfect.
So my question is , why the lack of interest.Does somebody know something I don't?

It's probably just due to its "fringe" status - like the BlackWater and HK knives.

Benchmade makes it, but they sell under the NRA.

I was amazed a bit when the HK knives were mentioned a few times.

But, now that you brought it, what about it makes it just about perfect?

The handle might have some issues to me.

It just feels right right when I hold it, I know that sounds a little vague but I'm sure you know what I mean!
I also have a Ka-Bar D2 spear point and as much as I like the blade shape, steel and dimensions the handle just doesn't feel quite right. The NRA however feels as if was moulded for my hand!
In saying this though the grip is only good in the sabre position and would be impractical in a reverse grip etc.
The knife also came shaving sharp and keeps a really good edge.Being made by Benchmade this should come as no suprise as they have always had their tempering down to an art.
I also think the blade size is perfect for most activities yet discrete enough not to attract too much attention.

Thanks for purchasing a Snody Design and posting your feedback.

I own a retail cutlery store in Corpus Christi Texas and that knife is our number one seller with the deer and hog hunters in our area.

Once they hold the knife they buy it.

It is a practical hunting pattern without any tactical frills.

In my world Tactical Knives always recieve more press and discussion than more traditional purpose minded Hunting Knives.

The bottom line is the ergonomics of that design are just spot on.

Thanks Again.

I will be linking video next week in SnodyLand showing some outrageous performance and testing of two SnodyKnives.

Thanks again.
