After 1934, 1968, and 1986 I kinda thought the NRA didn't care about fun stuff

When they get undone what they did, I'll be a supporter.

Hit you up at the next show I see you at Doug :)

I understand what you are saying. I still won't buy a new ruger. BUT

the NRA is the only reason you still have ANY fun stuff. I don't understand anyone who owns a firearm but doesn't support the NRA. Not the place for it, and not judging anyone, esp. you Mark.

I hope I can take you up on the offer soon!

Pick and choose their battles too much and sold us out too many times. Lots of good organizations out there, the NRA just gets the most press. They waste tons of money on junk mail and they build themselves up to something they're not. Gun Owners of America, JPFO, American Suppressor Association, etc. are good causes. Least you know what I mean when I mention those 3 dates. Most people don't know, or most people don't care (because they already think the firearm regulated under the NFA have always been illegal and/or they believe we shouldn't have those items anyway).

Agreed on the Ruger thing, really I have a problem buying any gun with a warning label, Bill Ruger and his magazine capacity stance tainted the company forever IMO. I still won't buy a Colt made after the mid 50s, try not to support Remington, Smith had their issues......

I get side tracked a lot on NRA threads, sorry about that
