Nubie quesstion, how do I post pics...

I am trying to post some pics that I have on my computer under "my pictures" but it is not working. I am also not able to copy and paste. The pictures do not have a URL, as they are on the computer and not on a website. Does anybody know how to post pictures on the forum from their computer instead of needing to use a URL to insert the pictures?

As a registered user the only way to post pics here is to have them hosted and to post them with img tags. A lot of people use picture posting sites such as photobucket.

Paying members do have the ability to upload them to the BFC server.
 
Ok, what does "hosted" mean?

What is an "img" tag?

I just got a photobucket account, but I still have no idea how to get pics from there to here. I'm new to this stuff and not very good with computers so a little help would be greatly appreciated.
 
BryFry, if you scan over a phoobucket pitcure, you'll get a menu of URLs under it. The last one is the one with IMG tags already in place. Left click to highlight it, right click to copy, and then paste in into your post here.
