Well you guys know how much I hate stripping my blades. 
So recently I stripped the "urban" coating off of my AK. It was pretty worn. I applied the stripper as usual and within minutes the urban gray was bubbling off. I expected to find the bare INFI under it as has been the case on all the other INFI blades I have stripped. But underneath was a black coating. So I applied the same stripper again, for a bit longer this time, and nothing. It remains. 
I am sure that a stronger stripper could make quick work of it but this second under coating seems tough as hell compared to the first. And I like the look. I think I will keep it on until I can abuse some of it off. But here are some pics.
I'll have to give this AK a name with the word "black" or "nuclear" in it.
