My TGLB has Nuclear Meltdown treatment which means all the edges have radius edges or were sanded that way.
I love the feel and the weight reduction.
But….
The Team Gemini has Big Flat edges which are great for Firesteel use, baton use , the added weight means better chopping but harder to lug around.
In the end I just want to know if you only had ☝️ where would you sit on the fence.

Nuckear meltdown look fine with those “wavy” mag scales.

But you can’t beat flat “non contour” scales with OG flat edge.

my biggest gripe is you can’t open a beer with nuclear meltdown treatment.

Vote goes to standard flat

You can open a beer with a lighter but it doesn’t 👀 as cool !!!

I’d take the meltdown.
The meltdown would feel better in MY hands everywhere else, and I can always grind or file down a small section for ferro rod use if desired. Or I can just have a scraper attached to my lanyard.

I like nuked edges with flat edges flush with the handle scales. Not a fan of the full all round nuke like on the tgulb.

The TGULB has what I consider to be the most comfortable handle of all the kin I’ve held, and it’s G-10!! I wish all handles had that double round/meltdown treatment.

Nuclear Meltdown for the handle, flat edge for the spine. The best of both worlds!

I like squared edges, full flat, sabre and hollow ground edges. You can keep your meltdown contours and convex edges. They're so 15 years ago now.

Busse had that timeframe where the NMFBM & NMSFNO were the baddest blades ever. The short window of time to order which has become the norm now, I seem to remember starting with the NMFBM. Just two weeks to coincide with the two weeks joke about delays. Busse kicks serious butt in that department now. Delivery times far exceed my expectations currently. I still prefer square edges.

For a user it’s got to be a square edge for batoning and firesteel etc. for a collector or a chopper NM wins.

Original TG was zero convex grind, not flat with hollow grind... that would have been TG 2014
