Nuclear Micarta Option

I agree , I am surprised Busse has not gone to a company like Shade Tree Custom and had special micarta made. I have a knife with handles made from coffee sacks.

I’m surprised they haven’t layered their own Micarta colors like they do with the Black & ______ G-10.

Hoping there's some of this micarta for the nuke option GWII scales...please, Jerry..PLEASE!!! 😅🤙

I agree with this thread 100%

Wow Jaxx Beautiful

What is that micarta ? Black/tan canvas.
Wow

I recall Jerry has done micarta as nuke option on recent releases of meaner and active duty but super rare. Seen one in tigerhide as well.

Grey, black, orange 🤙When wet, it looks mostly black with burnt orange, but dries back to the 3 colors

I’m happy with plain black micarta. I just wish they would bring back the standard scale option :-)

Jerry/Garth,
On my way to the gun show this morning a friend told me about another custom micarta maker named Fibermascus.

what are you talking about ? It is an option ?

Canvas Micarta in Black, Tan, or Green is included in the base price.
Black G-10 + $20
Multi-colored G-10 + $30 (Tan & Black, Green & Black, Red & Black, Blue & Black, or Orange & Black.)

If you are talking about magnum vs. standard on the larger knives, yep that would be cool.

But on the small knives there was never magnum or standard scales.

I thought what I said was pretty clear but maybe not.

I personally am happy with plain black canvas micarta, I don’t care about all the other color options.

What I want is the standard thickness scale option to come back so you can choose it or magnum.

ah that clears it up

as I said above, maybe I was unclear ?;

You're not the only one, I'm certain. I recently handled non-Magnum that was sent to me in the form of an original Hell Razor w/ the old school Tan coating (sandpaper look) and Tan Canvas Micarta. This beauty now has V-grind edge at just over 15 DPS @ 220 grit.

I also recall now there was a very small number (maybe just a few) of Team Gemini Light Brigade's that were brought to Knob Creek ca. 2015 with non-Magnum Black Paper Micarta Handles and I was lucky enough to score one... it was WICKED COOL!

I have never seen a TG of any variation w/flat scales ?

Got any pics ? I would love to see them.

Pics or it didn’t happen! Lol
Try digging up pics from that unnamed LK guy.. he probably has some…. He seems to be ordering from the custom shop without the custom shop being open??????
