I sent some choice pieces of elk antler off to culpeppers. I like the colors on this one. I tried to get more bark with texture but it didnt happen so I gave it to son Michael for show and tell.

12c26 Sandvik and 410ss with amber dyed elk antler scales.
Thanks for looking

Nice one Bruce! Looks like it would feel good in the pocket. I like the colors too!

No bark on purpose right?....you meant to do it that way....right? ;)
I would not have known the difference if you hadn't told on your self.

Also, I really like the slanted front bolster.

Thanks fellas. I'm getting the pin thing figured out too. Wait till you see the next one.

What a shweet lit'l knife. Very nice combo of smooth, understated lines and bold colors. I think it's perfect just the way it is.

Beautiful in every way. I really love how the lines flow.

Are my eyes or my monitor playing tricks, or does the blade have a hint of recurve?

Your eyes are right. I couldnt resist just a little talon recurve. :)

Aside from lookin' good, that looks like a darn useful knife Bruce!!

Nothing wrong with that one, Bruce. Lots right about it! Keep 'em coming!

Great knife! The Culpepper thing is secondary, of course, but I am stunned. I had no idea they could do that with elk. I have not been impressed with much of the elk I have seen. I have a primo rack in my basement. If I wanted to lay in a big supply of stabilized, dyed stag from it, would I send the whole antlers to that company? I know nothing about this train of thought. Thanks!

Please contact Culpepper & Co. (or Bruce) directly to pursue this discussion as it is a bit off topic for this forum. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with that one at all! Keep'em comin, Bruce, you're on a roll. I like the recurved Wharncliffe. ;)

Great scale choice. Really set the rest of the knife off.
