AS you guys may have noticed I am into sheaths and sheathmaking. The kind words I have received for my efforts are actually the most meaningful feedback I get anywhere. I have tremendous respect for the people on this forum and their opinions.
The necessity of a fine sheath is sometimes underestimated. A knifemaker friend said to me that the sheath is as important as the blade itself. While I do not agree with his statement I certainly know what he means. Having a well made sheath means you can access your blade when it is needed and what is more important? If your sheath does not work you may as well not have a knife. So I would love to see some pics of your FAVORITE SHEATHS.
