13??? Funny, that was my ex-wife's self-proclaimed "lucky number". No way I was going to go for that one, but I'm happy for you nonetheless. :thumbup:

Did you oil those scales, or did it come that way?

If you look at the swedge grinds, right above the plunge grind... Jerry's pic has the shape of a CG FBM... and your #13 has the hump right above the plunge grind. Hmmmmmm.... interesting! :eek:

Edit to add: Plus the slabs are different.

Good eye. The slabs are different. Of course, Jerry can make 500 #13's if he wants to. :D
 
I have noticed that swedge (?), the bevels on the spine near the tip of the blade vary quite a bit.

Mine has a very small bevel, like Cobalts #13 while the photo #13 has a pronounced bevel.

I think I have seen a picture of a customer FBMLE that has the pronounced bevel.

Who knows how much they vary.
 
I kind of like that they are all a little bit different. Congrats, Cobalt!

I am looking forward to the arrival of #18.
