I have had a couple of Busse knives for some time now, a Steel Heart II and an Assault Shaker. These are the source of great jealousy from my friends.

The thing is that I am looking now to get a third knife - something more along the lines of an everyday utility blade. I have tried to find information about which one might suit me by looking through the forums but get the impression that Busse knives are only available by lottery now.

Can someone please point me in the right direction of where I might find a listing of the knives available and where I can get more information on them please?

Best regards from New Zealand

A great EDC would be an Active Duty. Check the For Sale forum and post in the Wanted To Buy forum. You will scare one up in no time.

Wanna buy a ticket??

Just kidding.

What size range were you thinking? For more blade 6" length), less mass, Satin Jack (3/16" thick).

For a lot of dexterity, the Active Duty (0.15" think) or, in something a bit bigger (3/16" thick), the Badger Attack 3 or Groove Master.

if your considering the groove master, then id also give consideration to the buffalo soldier *skunk has one for sale as we speak :) *

ill give my vote for the active duty. perfect blade shape, size, handle shape, everything.

First let's be clear that you have a better chance at winning the lottery than getting a blade from the shop :D

Second it doesn't matter what you're looking for Skunk (Stinker Edged Gear, Inc.) WILL have it in stock and ready to go. I haven't figured out where his distribution warehouse is yet, but I'm getting closer :D

thanks for the advice guys... will do some more investigating into the smaller knives that you have recommended.
