Seeing the numbered Nick in another thread, brought up a question I've been meaning to start a thread with....so here it is.

The numbered Busses, are they all considered LEs or are only the Busses with tiger hide considered a LE?

So far now, I've seen snakeskin, black paper, and tiger hide on numbered Busses...are there other slabs that I'm missing?

And...can someone (or everyone together) compile a list of models that were numbered?

All start with the ones I know (remember):
Satin Jack
BAIII
Nicks
Meaner Street
Leaner Meaner Street
Fusion Steel Heart
Satin Jack TAC
Fusion Battle Mistress
Badger Attack TAC
Sus Scrofa

I know I may be missing some here....but it's been a long freaking day! Fill in the blanks for me guys.....:)

From long ago, I remember at least Mojo's and aftershocks being numbered.

I will think on it a little

Before tiger hide was snakeskin... and I've seen some with black paper like the NICK and I believe a MOFO.

There's lots of older models with numbers... SHBMs. Although, I've never seen any numbered SHSHs, BBSHSHs, SHBAs... there are ergos with numbers...

Edit to add: and the GW LEs were not numbered.

Yes...you and Papa Thud jarred a memory cell...numbered MOFOs. But, SHBMs? Never seen them or ergos with numbers.

And the GW? If it ain't got a number how can it be a LE?

We need more input....good start though!

Yup, and Silly Me, I actually have a Limited, number 350 of the Straight Battle Mistress, with Canvas micarta.

Also a Numbered Trully limited, one of five produced but number 18 The Hood Knife by Busse Combat

I prolly either need to sleep or maybe less to drink.

The final runs of ergos done in the desert colors were numbered.

The configuration makes it an le. satin/snake.

but, then again, i guess the satin/tiger could also be an le.

the satin/snake gw was the only one offered as an le.

Satin Mojo's and Mofo's came numbered LE's/
ABA's came satin numbered LE
Meaner Streets came satin LE
SH-e, NO-E, BM-e all came Desert Numbered LE
aftershock bolo came satin LE
SHBM's came Satin Numbered LE There were 500 pf these made supposedly, though non of us have ever seen more than 10:D

I have never seen an SHSH LE

hmmm, what else can I remember:confused:

Just think. Some UBER HOG no one's ever even seen is probably sitting on about 300 of them.

My Muddy Mojo is numbered. Number 9, in fact.

Also, when I got my latest Ganzaa wardens (Pumpkins and Black SMOG), the blades were sterils, but a couple of them had numbers written on the cardboard. And I'm not talking about the "inspected by" numbers. Does that count?

I assume it's just something left over from Blade West, but I've also read that some apparantly Busses with no numbers on the blades are numbered under the handles.

I have a satin Paul's Hatchet LE that is numbered and wears black paper micarta.

Thanks guys....looks like this is what we came up with. If you can add to the list let me know...I've missed some of the handle configs on the bottom. I think the Mofo/Mojo satins came with blk paper....

and i hate you for that... :D

do you know why some were numbered and some not, btw? does it have something to do with the california legal set?

I think if you purchased a "set" of BARF's they came numbered, I believe most of the individual pieces not sold in a set were un-numbered. I dont think that applies to all of them as I'm pretty sure that the cali legal set I own was purchased as a set by the previous owner but they are un-numbered.

Now if I could only track down a set of toothless BARF's.... :foot::D

I have had numbered original Satin Jack LEs with black canvas and black paper in addition to the snakeskin (and mine with snakeskin is sterile).
