I have a numbered Aviator, CRK confirmed it as an 89 October-nov making it one of the first USA Aviators with a low serial number, question is are the early USA serialised knive more collectable/ worth more than non numbered?
My understanding is that the hex caps were stock that CRK brought over with them on the move from South Africa. Therefore, a one piece with a hex cap is an early production.

AAh, sounds right enough, did they come over in 89? so its an African knife stamped Usa and maybe rarer than the African ones, i wonder how many in this config are out there.
