Numbered large sebenza - 1996

Question - I may have a chance to acquire a numbered large sebenza from 1196. I believe Chris Reeve Knives numbered the first 200 production knives that year. What is a reasonable price to pay considering the knife will be mint/unused condition. Appreciate any comments. Thanks, John

If it's from 1196 it may be priceless as Chris would have had to time travel to create such a knife! In all seriousness though, a resonable price differs from one collector to another. I personally would pay anywhere up to $1000 for such a knife, but that's just me. Some would call me crazy, but it worth what you are willing to pay. Shoot, my estimate could be way low.

This would be one of the first 200 of the new style, I believe. I haven't seen a premium on that style yet, I think $400-$500 would be about right for a plain version.

400 to 425 is about right. But in the end is all about how much You want to pay. Ive over payed up to 250.00 on a few knives but i wanted them bad so i didnt care.
