Does anyone have any experience with Nupla axes? I have used the dead blow hammers n the past and they were first rate. I believe the axes might be made in the usa.

You can be pretty darn sure that a product made in USA would be marked 'made in USA'. With regard to current production of axes there aren't very many.

Their axes are made for utility market or firefighters.
Perfect for the Linetruck. Power utility or Parks Dept guys hacking or pounding stakes.

Elitist Axe'tards will nitpick them to death.

That's so helpful! It tell us so much about their quality and country of origin.

My experience with Nupla tools is that they are very sturdily hung on, usually on fiberglass handles but that their steel is nothing special. Shovels have been OK. Pick mattocks have been equivalent to Chinese import stuff. I don't know the country of origin for their steel products.

I'd agree that if the heads are USA-made then it's probably by Barco. That finish on the head resembles theirs more than it does Council.

I will have to be one of those people 😁

I just can't stand the looks of their skinny fiberglass handles with no shoulder and a whole crap ton of glue. I also can't stand those whatever you call them collars where you grip ( someone doesn't know anything about 200+ years of American axe / handle development )

I'd probably gamble on one of their wood handled axes, but the price seems a bit higher than they should be.
