I was flipping channels and I thought to myself....

"I wish there was a show about knives"

It would be cool. It'd be a good show for Spike or Vs. A lot better than some infomercial about cleaning out your bowels or some get rich quick scam. I think Nutnfancy would be a good host because he's got unique style, a strong following, and good variety of subjects he talks about.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no Nutnfancy groupie. I'd watch a knife show no matter who was hosting.

He's good most of the time, I've only seen a few of his videos that disturbed me.

He seems quite honest in his opinions and doesn't seem to be afraid of changing his opinions.

Great traits for a guy doing reviews.

I like Nutnfancy, but I'd much rather see a knife show hosted by an actual maker who travels around talking to other makers about their designs, concepts, shops, heat treats, materials, new and old steels and the latest technology... things of that sort. Nutnfancy is a normal guy (which is his primary appeal) who spends tons of cash on the same toys that most of us have (he just has more than most of us) and he makes observations that have previously been made on these and other forums dozens of times before, he just uses a different method (youtube) to get his opinions out there. As I said, I like him, and I typically agree with his comments about knives and other gear, but for me I'd rather hear about a knife from the guy who made it and his peers. If I want to hear the opinions of regular guys who own knives I'll just check here, or watch some of the reviews on youtube, you don't need a TV show for something that simple.

Knife show =
Knife show hosted by Nutnfancy = meh

I liked his old 10 min reviews of items. I can't watch his 30 min ramblings anymore. I unsubscribed a few weeks ago.

His videos are very informative and he does give some good advice.
I can only handle so much though, as he is a bit long winded and I get tired quickly.

i think he would make a good host, knife show maybe, tech show defanetly!

nutnfancy records most of his gun reviews at a buddys gun shop, so it would be safe to think he dont own every single gun he reviews,

just my 2 cents

no doubt, I didn't mean to imply he owns everything he reviews, but he typically will say which items are his and which he borrowed for a review, and I have to say he owns quite a bit of gear, far outside the average person's toy budget IMO. I'm not knocking him for that, in fact it would be accurate to say that I'm quite envious. With the current state of the US economy I can only dream of spending that kind of cash on new toys.

Same deal with alot of the knives he reviews. I think he said it's a local shop that allows him to review them.

A show about knives would be great.

I'm not a big "Nutnfancy" fan. Some of his videos are OK, but he is far from a knife expert.

If he had a show, I'd watch it. But I'd watch any show about knives, regardless of the host.

I unsubscribed last week. All his videos are 30 minute self wanking gun videos now. There hasn't been anything knife related in a long time

I absolutely cannot listen to/watch him more than 10 seconds before I want to tear my eyes out of my head. Besides, my fiancee won't let me watch any of his videos if she's home, his voice tends to go right through her. His reviews are long winded, he focuses WAY to much from a defensive standpoint (I carry a gun for that reason), and he uses the word tactical 1000x per review. If he had a show, it would be 30 minutes of him talking about how sad he is that (insert name here), didn't include skeletonized liners in their folder, and how (insert knife here) weighs .000009 ounces too much to be considered for an EDC, because being high speed low drag requires a knife made of air.

That said, I have nothing personal against the guy, he is a gun guy too and a supporter of the 2nd amendment, so I fully support his endeavors. I just can't handle listening to him.

No, no he doesn't need a TV show. Half the time he doesn't even need a youtube channel.

+1
