A controversial character for sure, he is never the less an opinion and a force in some way in the knife industry. I'm not voicing an opinion Nutn by posting this here, but I just thought those of you who weren't aware should get to hear about this in a timely manner.

He has about as much force as a bowel movement.

I don't care if he gives it the highest accolades. F nutnretard and thanks for ruining my afternoon.

I do not care what you think
I like his vids (not all of them and do not agree with half of what he says) I would rather watch his shooting vids (even though my municipal government has banned guns) than say brainwashing that constantly goes on on CNN
All in all a nice lad that stands for what is right

I can´t bear this guy...but at least I got to 1:35 because of the Dog.. One time, I bumped on one video where he talked about philosophy of some sort... man, that requires some nerve to be in front of a camera on youtube pretending he can make sense…

Just a FYI
He just did a review praising a cheap Chinese knock off of a Hinderer folder.

That is wrong.

For that and other reasons, I will not watch his videos.
Keep in mind every time someone watches his videos he gets paid.

I for one will not support anyone who supports the theft/"borrowing" of or steals/"borrows" intellectual property !!!!

Would any of you ?

Not just a knockoff, it was a Hinderer branded counterfeit.

This is factually incorrect. As a google partner you only get paid for MONETIZED views. That means if you're on a non-monetized platform, or otherwise avoid the ads, he is not being paid for the views. Only some views pay.

I do concur with your sentiment though that it is dirty to condone a pretty blatant example of IP theft. That said he subsequently removed the video after a discussion, in part that I had with him, regarding why such an action is immoral.

So just FYI.

Was it a Scrapyard Regulator or a I-cant-believe-its-not-bussekin-brand Regulator?

Watched the video but noticed he pronounced it "bee-yoosy". Didn't we agree a while back that it is pronounced "buss-ee"?

Hope someone can ask Jerry for an authoritive pronunciation. I hate to murder someone's name. Thanks.

..I have the impression, as with some other youtubers, that his opinion is biased towards the brands that send him their products for givaways or for testing... I understand that as "dishonesty towards the viewers".

I believe a community benefits a lot more from experiences, etc. than from "purchased opinions".

Lets all take a deep breath before posting....

I saw it when originally posted here and avoided posting for bunch of reasons. I had to watch but, was lost when he said it had a full flat grind, then switched to convex....

After all his reviews I am shocked he still doesnt recognize a saber ground blade.

Makes as much sense as his last endorsement:thumbdown:

THis thread has too much potential to be spoiler of things fun...like knives, drinks, and friday nights. So, please keep politics, trolling, and flame wars out or it will get locked with infractions issued.:cool:

I do not believe anyone from Busse has sent him anything.:)

As, he stated in the video. He bought it direct from Scrapyard- which means most likely with no one theres knowledge of it going to nutnfancy, but definitely means it didnt come from Busse Combat, and it definitely wasnt given for a favorable opinion.

Since he stated he purchased it.... I have no doubt through their website... that not only was it not given to him, but I am absolutely sure it wasnt given to him so that he would make a video three years later when its no longer for sale just so he would have a favorable opinion:rolleyes:

It is Buss-EEE like a school Bus with a long e on the end.

According to Jerry Busse.

Not a NF fan, but am a fan of Busse, and kin. Scrapyard sure makes stuff at a stellar price to performance ratio.

If NF wanted an explanation for the sheath situation, any number of owners could explain it. Many users buy multiples, and don't want the extra expense of a sheath with every one.

Orders of 27 (you know who you are, crazy!) are not unheard of in Busse and Kin circles on a single knife. When buying multiples, spares, and collector pieces, even a cheap sheath adds a lot to the cost.

No factory sheath is going to be perfect for everyone. I, for one, make my own sheaths, and have my own favorite sheath makers for each style!
