Does anyone know if the NW Ranger will fit inside of the nylon sheath of the SP or the SPE? Because I really like the NW Ranger but I do not like the leather sheath it comes with. It has occurred to me that the NW Ranger might fit inside the nylon sheath of the SPE/SP.The leather sheath is the reason why I haven't already acquired the NW Ranger. BTW, hello everyone, I just noticed this SOG specific link on the site and I am glad it is here because I really like SOG knives: I own the Seal Pup Elite and the Trident folder, among my other brands of knives.

NW Ranger inside of the Seal Pup Elite Sheath

I have the NWR and the seal pup elites with both sheaths ( kydex and cordura)
The NWR will fit the nylon sheath...it's a little tight because of the guard but does work. It will not fit the kydex sheath ; once again because of the guard the NWR has and the knifes' profile.
As a side note to Seal pup elite owners , the leather sheath for the short kabar works perfectly for the elite and regular pups. It is available by itself at a very reasonable cost. The NWR will fit it also , but the retaining strap is a little tight.
