Thought I'd share some photos of a Buck Zipper that I have. This knife was part of a series that the Ky NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) had as a fundraiser at banquets. If I remember right I got this one in 2002.

I don't know how Buck does special runs, but thought y'all might like to see photos of this one.

Has Buck ever done any other Wild Turkey themed knives? Seems like I did see photos of a special 110 on that auction site, but I don't remember what it looked like.

Ky, Thanks for sharing these photos of a stunning knife. Buck still does Limited Editions on many different themes. Yes, a 110 had a Turkey on it. Other models have depicted other birds. Turkey season is coming up and I hope you have success. DM

I used to go to a banquet or two every year, but haven't been in a few now. They did a series of ten knives, one a year for ten years for the Ky Chapter. I have 5 - 9. They are all fixed blade hunting style knives. I also have the ones made by Grohmann, Case, Western, and Bear and Son.

There is a 110 known as the Buck Wild Turkey. Black and gold etch on the left side of the blade. Deep black etch on the right side of the blade. 1984 project. Another 110 turkey etch was done for the W. VA. NWTF. Black and gold etch on the left side of the blade. Electroetch on the right side. 1986 project. Both these knives were done by Buck. There may also be third party knives with turkeys on them. Nice knife you have. Thanks for the pics. I did not have this third party project documented.
