Was recently in NY and came across this place. Sadly I had no time to stop as I was on my way to the airport.

Anyone been?

NEW YORK CITY!??

Why, they don't know nothin' 'bout no barbeque in New York City!

:p

might be good for NYC?

but it still doesnt mean its any good:)

Don't kid yourself. NYC has people from all over. The Upper East Side has a variety of restaurants you wouldn't believe. Fake doesn't last long. With the cost of doing business, even real doesn't always last. :(

Saddest part about this story for me was the fact I had just came from a restaurant of my girlfriends' choosing.

Pastis is what it was called, hell is what I called it. This place features in Sex in the City quite often and is a french restaurant famous for it's brunch. Full of trendies of all ages including some families with kids called Hugo, Bruno and similar names.

Still I had managed to get to a great restaurant the night before called Churrascarrias. Was a similar deal to Fogo and as it was a quiet night I got a waiter to myself. He noticed my accent and took it as a challenge to feed me as much meat as the chef could cook. I'm a growing lad but by the time I left there I thought I was about to go into labor I was that full. Picture Fat B@£tard from Austin Powers and you won't be far off. I eat babies, well possibly considering I had every other cut of meat on the planet that night.
