NY----Legal length for folder and straight blades????

I should know this, but it has escaped me lately. Does anyone know if there is a STATED legal length for folding knives and/or straight blades in New York???
I know the Penal Law covers 'switchblades', 'gravity knives', daggers' etc, etc, but I cannot find anything stating a cutoff for length. And yes, I have my Penal Law for NY and it IS up to date......
Anyone know? LEO's??? Someone familiar with this subject????
 
I can't find anything in NY state about length. I do know that New York City has a 4" limit.
 
That's pretty much what I am finding out too. I have been told by some LE friends of mine that there really is not a limit, although they would be concerned with someone carrying a very large folder or staight blade, but no legal issues may arise......
