Most of this will be on the BladeArt table at the NYCKS.

My second Kopis. 18" 154CM blade, 26" OAL. Black Canvas Micarta handle. Why put all that work into a blade then finish it with a Micarta handle?

Because it's not a toy. Those who handle it will understand.

Every once in awhile I do something I really like. It hasn't happened in a couple years, but this knife did it for me. It traces its heritage back to my Combat Stiletto, but I made the primary edge a modified tanto shape and gave the small fingers something to hang onto in a thrust. It works in the hand and I like the way it looks to the eye.

6" 154CM blade, 12" OAL. Ivory Micarta.

Both Are Awesome

Always Loved Your Stufff

Maybe One Day I Will Be Around When One Is Available

Thanks,

Next is a plain Red DogTag with a somewhat modified edge I'm trying on a few of my knives. It's almost tanto shaped but without the pointy part at the bottom of the front angle. This will be easier to see on some others I'll have coming. 3" 154CM blade.

A better look at that Damascus. By Devin Thomas, this is a great steel. 3V tough and so stainless I had to etch it in Ferric Chloride for over 30 minutes just to define a little of the pattern.

The Damascus is beautiful and that Hunter-Killer is definitely one of my favorites from you. I also really liked your choices in handle materials. Have fun at the show on Saturday.

You're going to make me go to New York, aren't you?

You're a cruel, cruel man.

But a very good knifemaker! :D

Jerry, on the hunter-killers... When you say "the new blade shape," do you mean they will all be this way, or will you still mix and match. What do you call the new one anyway, just a tanto?

Great stuff.
