NY Times Leuku Article

"Maybe it’s because I spent so much of my childhood rampaging through the woods pretending to be one of Robin Hood’s outlaws or the last Mohican, but I think of old-fashioned knives (the sort you’d use to survive in the wild rather than slaughter rival drug dealers) as being noble rather than scary."

Interesting article. I have found the quote from it above to be so very true, many, many times.

Im pleasently surprised such an article would run in a NYC paper.Great looking knives.

thanks for the link. I found the drug dealer knives comment to be in poor taste, but appreciated the rest of the article. the only problem is that they neglected to show the rest of the knives.

@jackknife: I've heard that very few people take a life long interest in something that didn't make an impression on them by about the third grade.

the only problem is that they neglected to show the rest of the knives.

It's frustrating, but I can understand why the publisher of the book that's coming out about this wouldn't want to give away too much for free.
