My Nyala, purchased from NGK, arrived this afternoon. Looks and feels wonderful, and no problems in terms of insertion and removal from the sheath.

The blade definitely looks like the large regular Sebenza.

Congrats on your Nyala.....I definitely plan on picking one up as soon as possible. I think that it would be a perfect complement to my Large Regular Sebbie.....

It looks exactly the same as the ones depicted at the CRK website and in other Nyala threads -- not a whit different. But it is mine...

Thanks a bunch for the congrats and good wishes!

This thread has lots of excellent photos of the knife, far better than I could take:

Beyond the look and feel, it even fits perfectly in the front pocket of my baggies shorts!

My Ritter MK1 has been retired to the household beater role -- opening mail, boxes, parcels, cutting packing tape, cardboard, and those pesky plastic bubble thingies, etc.

A Nyala is is definitely in my future. I love the design overall and it really does remind you of a fixed blade regular sebenza.

Interesting. I drove up to New Graham Knives on June 2 and picked up my Nyala. So . . . beat you by one day. Bluefield is about 100 miles from my home here in NE Tennessee and it's a nice drive. Mike was in rare form and provided his usual enthusiastic greeting.

This was my second visit to NGK. First was not long after they opened. Mike has really expanded the store and it is state of the art, a really nice brick & mortar store. I'm going to have to visit more often.

The Nyala was everything I expected. I have since carried it daily and after almost a week am still very pleased with the little fixed blade. CRK quality all the way!

Any of you travelling anywhere close to Bluefield, VA should plan on stopping at NGK. It's worth the visit!
