Nyala EDC?

I think Archman has a review on his YouTube channel. Nice knife but I don’t think he fell in love.

I work in public education and only carry my Nyala over summer and breaks. Maybe now and then if I'm hiking or some weekends too. It's a part of the year edc. Small 21 of some sort all other days when I'm working. Large 21 other times. #crkaddict

I'm a lefty and love carrying the right handed sheath on the left side. It makes the edge carry forward. After some considering, I opted to not order a lefty sheath. It carries great and it's a nice middle size. I'm hesitant sometimes to use it publicly in more sensitive places. I carry a folder with it often so it's not much of an issue.

I take it out when felling trees as a summer job. We cut down several big mulberry trees one hot day. I was deep in scratchy limbs and soaked to the extreme with salty sweat all of the daylight hours. I was worried about rusting and the sheath being damaged from my extensive wetness. Everything was good, the brutal day left no mark .

Do I think it's worth edcing? When I heard it was no more I found two of them last second. Having three brings peace of mind. Sold my bark river and Benchmade fixed blades. I only have the Nyalas. The belt loop has held up better than expected. Other brands could learn a lot! Gfeller Casemamers is tops with experience to back up talent .

Nothing to show, it hangs in my 8 o'clock position edge forward on my leather belt.

I'm a southpaw also, and also have more than one Nyala. Just curious about how they're being carried. I did get kydex sheaths from Micah Sonntag made for both blade shapes.
