I recently acquired a CRK Nyala off of the forum and have been itching to get some more use out of it but with the newest addition to the families recent arrival, and my bum shoulder needing some more work, I just haven't found the time to get out into the woods yet this year.
Since some of you were kind enough to view my other post showing my Large Insingo doing some kitchen work I decided that I'd use the Nyala while making some Taco's and Burrito's for dinner.
Although I never had a doubt that it'd make a great camp and hunting knife it sure shined at kitchen duty, reinforcing my belief that it'd be king of the camp kitchen.
Here's a few pics showing it at work.

Testing the waters, or lettuce, whatever ;D

I always make long slices of lettuce and chopped bits of lettuce to create a little variety, It adds to the options and creates different textures for the kids to choose from-plus i'm just weird like that.
Here's the long slices.

Some chopped lettuce.

Now the tomatoes, I like to use Roma's for Mexican food since they're not so watery. I remove the inside to keep it from getting mushy.

Then a nice chop with the Nyala and they're ready for the buffet line.

Now some slicing of the Fajita seasoned chicken breast and the buffet line is almost complete.

I had planned on showing you the whole line up to include the salsa, wraps, taco shells, etc. but I ran out of time

I'm loving this Nyala, it feels great in hand and was comfortable for the kitchen duty that it was used for. I can't wait to get into the woods with it and hope that my shoulder is healed by Nov so that i can give it a try during deer season.
If you read this far, thank you for checking out my post.
