Nyala Insingo with CF scales …… and buddy

Hello,

finally got my Nyala. Sent it to Cuscadi to attach CF scales. I think the CF scales match perfectly with the insingo blade. They add a little more volume to the handle and due to the grooves a much better grip. I will also have a black kydex sheet made for the Nyala, in order to make it a perfect package :-)

WOW! Thats prob the nicest Nyala ive seen. The CF looks PERFECT!!
 
Reading the title I didn't think I'd care for it, I really think the micarta scales are about perfect; that being said it does look fantastic. Very well executed.
 
Those CF scales are stunning !!! Great pictures as well to capture the beauty of the Nyala. :thumbup:
 
Those look fantastic! Was that a custom job just for you our will he be selling them? I was always turned off by the Nyala's handles but that's a game changer there!
 
Cuscadi is a well reputed maker of custom scales in G10, Micarta, CF, wood, you name it, in Germany. I have seen already people here at the BF posting their knives with Cuscadi scales so they do ship to North America. I did sent my knife in for switching the scales as the guy from Cuscadi (Luke) explained to me that the original scales are not only held by screws but also by glue. Of course they returned the knife together with the original scales and yes, their backside was full of glue. Once they did custom scales for a praticular modell, they have the data available to reproduce them. So sending in the knife is not necessary, if you know how to deal with the glue :-)
