Well, I don't know either......but KCI is a stand-up, straight-up group, so I think there must be some rationale...

That sounds premature to me.

Most likely it's speculation or a gentle sales pitch. I wouldn't read too much into it.

The "hard to get" might only apply to Knifecenter as opposed to you, me, or another dealer. I don't know why that would necessarily be, but I imagine an email to them to ask for clarification couldn't hurt.
