Nyala Opinions

I am really lusting for a Nyala. Just wanted to hear what people who have used the knife thought about it. It looks perfect to me. I really love the blade shape and lines. I'm also interested in trying out S35NV

Everything i have read says it's basically a fixed blade sebenza. In other words it's pretty awesome. I've been looking at one myself but i can't decide between the nyala and the professional soldier.

You'd probably get more responses in the Chris Reeve Knives forum...but fwiw, I love mine, although I have not given it heavy use. I don't think I've read anyone not liking it after they've used it. The S35VN is not a shocking upgrade from S30V but for me it seems to sharpen up better/slightly faster. The only thing I would change is the belt attachment for the sheath - I prefer the snap loop on the Mountaineer 4" OP knives, but you can work around it. It's a great tool and a very attractive and pleasant one to use.
