I field dressed and skinned a large deer with my new Nyala last November. It's a great little knife, carries very comfortably in the CRK sheath, and stays out of the way on your belt. I dislike belt knives that are always banging into stuff (like my rifle stock), or getting snagged on seatbelts, etc. I never had any of those issues with the Nyala. My only complaint about it is that the blade is a little on the wide side so the "coring out" procedure, if you know what I mean, was a bit awkward. I'm bit conflicted about mine. It has a little more belly to the edge than a Sebenza, and perhaps it's got slightly more of a drop point, but for anything other than hunting, I prefer a large Sebenza. I'm debating whether to keep mine as a dedicated hunting knife, or pass it on and put the funds into a knife I'll get more general use out of. I'll probably hang on to it and go through another deer season, and hopefully get a chance to dress out a few more animals, and then make up my mind. I imagine they will hold their value pretty well, even over the short term, and like most CRKs will probably appreciate if you hang on to one long enough.
