Nyala scales

Anyone out there offer custom scales for the Nyala? I realize that the scales/handle are a big part why the knife is called the Nyala (and not just the fixed blade Sebenza ). I really like the knife, but would like to get beefier, less textured scales. Also, if you put different scales on, would that void the warranty?

Haven't seen any aftermarket scales for sale but custom or DIY is always a possibility. I tried to experiment a while back and found that the fasteners are seriously loctited in place. Use caution, a very well-fitting bit and some heat if you decide to try to remove them.
