NYC Knife Shops?

I’m going to be going to NYC for a short trip soon and was wondering if anyone could suggest some good knife shops to check out. Spyderco dealers would be cool since there are none in my area and I would really like a chance to handle some. Places that sell Victorinox, Opinel, and Douk-douks would also be good since they are good bang for the buck knives. Lastly does anyone know of a place that might sell the Swisstech Utilikey? I might only go with a carryon and may want a cheap disposable multitool. I’m open to other suggestions as well but these would be the big three I’m looking for. Thanks

Paragon Sporting goods at Union Square has most major brands, but you will pay near or full retail. William-Sonoma, the cooking store sometimes carries Opinel #8's. They are all over.

Warshaw Hardware and Electrical, at 248. 3rd ave( a short walk from Union Square) use to have 10-12 Spyderco models for sale at good($10-20 over internet) prices. They also stocked Cold Steel.

Call them before hand to see if they still stock, as I haven't been there in a couple of years.

NYC is very knife unfriendly.

Three Little Indians is a great place. http://www.threelittleindianscustomknives.com/ Great food AND knives!

Either leave your blade at home or definitely pocket your whole knife, clip and all. If a cop sees it you can be in for a little trip downtown. "NYC is very knife unfriendly" is putting it mildly. ;)

If I bring a blade it will only be my Vic Explorer and a credit card multi-tool. I have perused the knife law forum enough to know not wear a clip in NYC.
