I just got back from the show. Thousands of fine knives of all shapes and sizes. I even managed to nick my finger on one fondling it.

The only one there that really got my juices flowing was the Cultrotech table. They are a Russian firm only found on Instagram. This is their fixed blade. Lousy phone pic but the two sizes are less than a 1/2 cm in length. CPM S125V steel. $1000 a pop with a sheath that could have come from the Hermes leather workshop. I'm still trying to find out how Yanhook and Daniel Frolov figure into this. Anyone have any info I would appreciate it. I think I found my next high end fixed blade knife with a small modification they said they could do.

Their flippers were art knives heavily embellished and decorated. Not my taste. But those fixed blades rival anything I've seen anywhere in terms of fit, finish and ergos.

Maxim Soltamuradov may be the designer of the fixed blades. In any case, their flippers appear to be directly competitive with Shirogorov. If anyone can shed some light on them I would appreciate it. Thanks.
