This is for all those who couldn't make it out to the pier last night. I took this photo moments after the initial lighting. Originally posted on the Strider forum and a lot of people liked it. I figured I'd share it with the rest of you. The "Tribute In Light" is a memorial and will be displayed for an entire month.

Thank you for sharing it. That's an awesome picture, and I've sent the link to it to many people.

Welcome to the Busse forum.
Thanks for bringing that shot over to the Busse forum.
I see you posting your pictures on the Strider forum quit often,
feel free to share your talent with us any time.

Do you have any Busse's?
Would you like me to send you 1 or 2 to shoot some pictures of?
(I would want them back:D )

Drop me a line if you're interested.
Thanks again,
Chuck

Shelby,
Welcome to the Busse Forum, stop by anytime. ;)
That is an outstanding photo. It is much better than the pics I saw on the National news channels regarding the lights. You take some great pics.

However, if you really want a Busse to photo let ME know.;) I'll send you one that 1WB's doesn't have ;):D(of course I'd also like it back;))

Stick around, we'd like to have you join in our discussions. :D

Welcome to the Busse forum!!! I've seen a great deal of the work you've posted. Got to tell ya, that one is out of this world, you really out did yourself this time :)

That's one that the grandchildren will talk about thirty or more years from now.

Looks like your gonna be in the Busse club soon! Busse (INFI)knives are another addiction, and there are plenty of good guys here who will help you in your choice.

You have clearly captured the spirit of this tribute. That is an amazing photo. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wow!
I heard about it on the radio today, but seeing it really is another thing!
Thankyou for sharing your work Shelby:)

Shelby, welcome to the Busse forum.

Thank you for the picture. It means a lot.

Guys,

Thank you so much for your comments. I figured it wouldn't be fair if you guys from across the state and across the pond couldn't see it. Since it's only up for a month, there may be a chance you men may never get to seee it. It is quite majestic to see it for yourself. The photo expresses the essence of the grandure. There were a lot of photographers next to me shuttering away so I am sure you may see lots of great pics in the near future I hope.
I'm just glad you guys appreciate it.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome in the Busse forum.

Mr. Busse,

Thank you for allowing me the space to post the pic to begin with.

Eric, 1whobuys,

Don't say you didn't say that if I do bring it up one day!:) (re: photographing your knives.) Since I can't keep them, I'll just borrow them really long. Jk;)

Busse Combat's HQ in Ohio. Speaking of which. I love Ohio very much. I met my girlfriend in Columbus. Also know a lot of good people in Zainsville. Looking forward to revisit.

Very nice photo. How bout some technical details, like exposure, film, etc? Is that monster saturation from Velvia? It sure looks good.
