Nyefmaker's Grails

I'm generally not a fan of decorated Sebenzas but that mosaic blade on the second one down is quite a thing. You don't see many of those at all. That gold coin Sebenza is a rather nice one too, I take it it was made in 2001 going by the characters. :p:thumbup:

Thanks HAZE. From the limited info I have found, the chinese writing is supposed to be the year 2001.....! I am not sure as I tried to do a google search and see what the year 2001 looked like in chinese and could not find any symbols that resembled these.

I do have an email into CRK seeing what info they can give me. I will post it when I hear back from them.

That is awesome that you have one so similar to mine. CRK must have made several of them at the time. The MOP is simply amazing. I will try to get a closeup/sideways shot as well to show off its vibrant colors................I have always been into wolves and such, so I liken the design to phases of the moon. Kinda Cool...!!!

Thanks also for the info on the Chinese lettering, that it indeed means " 2001 ".
 
As beautiful as the ones originating from this thread, a week before I got the " fab 4 ", I got this large annual sebenza in maple burl. I have wanted a large annual for years but was never able to until this one appeared kinda by accident as well as it was on the trade forum and I asked the member if he would be willing to sell outright. We struck a deal and the rest is history. I have always been a large regular sebenza guy and this large annual is easily the smoothest large regular that I own or have ever owned. You can imagine my excitement that in aprox. 2 weeks time, I landed these 5 sebenzas. That has never happened before that I recall and I don't see it ever happening again. I have since bought a sebenza 25, but it pails in comparison to these Grail Regular's.




 
I saw that same annual up for trade, but I could get a deal done. Nice score and a beautiful knife!
