Quick question,are scales on the nyala removable...can you take them off.... Many thanks!! Sorry for the misspelling....
 
Isn't there a carbon handle Nyala out there? The craftsman who did that would know.
 
Maybe but not from CRK. The only alternative scales I know of from CRK was Tamboti, a 25-piece Orvis exclusive limited.
 
Great question Cody!! Jnewell is correct.. they have three screws..(on each side) but as far as I know CRK does not provide a tool to remove the scales. So perhaps you would need to send it in to have them changed in the event of damage. So, I don't know. Maybe BBQ is right. I am not going to try and remove mine.. :)

I read somewhere, probably in the thread about the carbon fiber scales that one member had made for his Nyala, that they were affixed with 2 way tape( similar as to how the inlays they do are done ) and then also have the 3 screws holding them down.
It's not gospel, and I'm not removing mine, but that's what I remember reading.
I'm sure if you call CRK they'll let you know for sure.
