Hey guys,

I'm not liking the leather sheath too much for my bravo 1, and I was wondering if anyone knows a good, affordable sheath maker who can make one of these for me. I am not looking for a expensive, custom sheath. Just something that will get the job done.

Thanks

Did you buy it second hand and it came with leather?

The B1s' that are micarta/G-10 come with a kydex sheath that is pretty good.

the woody ones have a leather sheath
for kydex email Reid from Sharpshooter, he can make you one, like the micarts handled ones

That is a possibility. However, from what I have heard the kydex sheaths that come standard with the Bravo 1's aren't great. Are there any options one step up from those... anything nylon?

The problem folks have with the original kydex sheaths is the tightness. There is a trick to get them in, lean it towards the spine, like shifting a gear, then press it in.
The other problem is they ride kind of high on the belt.
What is the leather sheath that you don't like, the Sharpshooter from KSF?

I bought my maple Bravo-1 a couple and a half years ago. It came with a kydex sheath then, and I kindly like it. It holds it snug.
