I'm looking for a black nylon sheath for my Pathfinder. Anyone know where to find a generic one? Or are there any Buck nylon sheaths that would fit - perhaps a sheath for another model?

Thanks!

If you can find a 605, those would work. It wasn't the most durable nylon sheath but they worked ;)

Thanks Jim. That would be perfect! Any idea how long the 605 has been discontinued? I wonder if Buck has any replacement sheaths?

I called Buck to see if they had any 605 sheaths left. They didn't. :(

So I ordered this one from Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Hope it works! :)

SMKW's sheath arrived and it's perfect! I am going to have to shorten the security strap and re-stitch the velcro, but that's no big deal.

They've actually improved the looks and construction of the sheath from the photo. The sheath is now folded over on the spine side with the stitching down the edge side only. There are only three rivets instead of six (not so busy) and the rivets are gun metal in color, not bright silver (another plus). Belt loop portion is the same. Color is solid black throughout, not two-tone like photo. Overall quality is extremely nice considering the $3.99 price.

Also, the fit of the Pathfinder in the sheath looks very natural as if they were made for eachother and I'm pretty picky about that. :D

Congrats! If your happy we're happy :D

This was a better route for you to go anyway, a 605 sheath would have been harder to find. They also look kinda alike anyway!
