My sebenza went with me everywhere except bed, the shower, and commercial flights. I've never had a problem with the Reeve clip which always held it firmly in my pocket, however last week in an incredibly crowded setting (there was room to breath but that was about all), I was traumatically parted from my knife and never recovered it. Don't know if it somehow got dislodged or it was skillfully lifted...

Am determined never to let this happen again, and want to hold my next Seb in a belt-mounted nylon sheath (a blackhawk sort of thing maybe).

Does anyone have any brand suggestions that hug a large regular Seb very tightly?

Try TAD Gear. They make a fine nylon sheath that can be worn horizontally or vertically.

wow...that would be a terrible loss. If it were lifted, I would think the sheath would actually make it easier to steal

I have been using a multi position sheath from Tad Gear for about 5-6 years or so with my Sebenzas. The highest quality mountable sheath in it's class IMO. Black, coyote brown and OD are the colors you can choose from. A good piece of gear if thats what you are looking for. It lays flat and doesn't print much under the shirt.

I carry a Sebenza IWB. I always know it's there, yet it's totally comfortable. Not only does nobody know it's there, but somebody would have to stick their hand down my pants to get at it.

I really like the TAD Gear sheaths. But, I use the CRK leather sheaths for my Sebbies.

Where around your waistband do you carry it? I've tried my large classic on my side, and it digs into my hip bone. I've tried it at about 2:00, and it digs in when I sit kneel.

I'll third or fourth the TAD OS-1 sheath. I have used two horizontally for a Large regular Sebenza and a SwissTool for a number of years and swear by them.
