Help!
So i live down in New Zealand, which is amazing ( If you haven't been here I'd highly recommend it!), ( Just don't bring throwing knives).

And that brings me right along to the main point of this post. The Current New Zealand laws mean i can own a knife that looks like it could gut/circumcise someone on one shot, and yet i cant own a knife that is classed as a "Thrower".

Well Well old chap you are in a right pickle...

My answer is (Of course) to buy Three GI Tanto knives from Cold Steel. They are legal and i like the way they throw.

But! Before i drop $100 I don't really have, can i get some advice on an alternative knife to throw, one that isn't branded as a throwing knife that i can slip through Customs.

I realize i can throw sharpened butter knives, but im after something with a bit of heft behind them.

Sorry for the long winded explanation.

Many Thanks

What about spear tips?

Or camp knives?

Or Bowie Knives?

Where do you get three Cold Steel GI Tantos in NZ for $100? I got mine for $75 for one knife...

Those are crazy laws, I suppose throwing a kitchen knife into a plain target would be a felony?

that is the problem with knife laws they are not clear. In my states knife laws they us any dangerous knife, even a G,I Joe action figure knife can be dangerous under the right circumstances,
