Does O-1 steel rust easily?

I got a new knife with O-1 steel and just wanted to know if I should keep it oiled.

Yes O-1 rusts and it seems to rust even more than other carbon steels I've tried also. They say O-1 will rust if you look at it funny. OTOH it's a great using steel.

Slap some Boeshield T-9 on there and refresh it on a regular basis.
