O.T. Having trouble posting, especially with quotes.

Guys as the title says I'm having all kinds of trouble trying to post. Sometimes they go through with no trouble at all and other times it locks up my whole system so I have to click ctrl, alt, delete and then it takes forever for my computer to end the task. I even used system restore last night to see if it would help and thought it did for a while but this morning it's back to the same old thing.
So if I'm not answering a post you know that it isn't me ignoring anyone.:(
 
had same prob just after the Bladeforums down-time
IE from two diff comps did the same

finally prompted me to try Firefox
which made the post with no problem

Nice program
with just a couple of tiny oddities
I'm sold on it.

Need to do a side by side with Opera now

once I get my own computer back up

right now i'm mostly borrowing time on other comps in the house.

I like FF (1.0.6) better than Opera, and I like Opera better than "Internet try to Explore'er".

Using quotes should not make any difference...it's just simple markup on the browser end.

You bet! About 15% faster, no MS bloatware or spyware or "critical update" notifications, imports your IE favorites, and is totally free.

Works for me!

just trying it out. I have IE and son't seem to have any trouble.

I just got an Apple dual G-5 Macintosh 4 months ago. It has not yet crashed, hiccuped or done anything other than just work. Everything I need came in the box, too. Web browser, mail client, all part of the OS, and integrated into it. Like UNIX. Oh, I did upgrade the mouse this week - to an Apple Mighty Mouse :rolleyes:

The first three books are very good. The first is superb.

Don't go beyond those. Herbert won an Oscar in science fiction writing for creating a world?universe?something.

Ok, maybe not an oscar, a heuy?, nebula? a gaggle?---well, like that.

They aren't as popular in British Columbia as they might be, for some reason.
