I started not too post this since it seems that one family couldn't accumulate so many troubles. I don't know whether to be mad or sad so I am both, with one moment being mad and the next moment sad.
Stella called me earlier today with the news that their middle son Justin disappeared overnight. Justin took nothing with him and left a suicide note. Justin is 15 and has tried suicide before.
Justin even left his most prized possession, his MP3 player behind, and had some other possessions wrapped up and duck taped up with some girl's name on them Stella said. Justin has really been having hell with puberty and for some time now.
The last time he was found he had taken a large handful of Stella's meds, this time all of the meds are accounted for.
Justin was barely found in time the last go around, his body temp was 91* and even with the warmed IV fluids, warmed heat blanket and etc his core temp dropped to I think Stella said 88* before it started climbing.
Of course the police, missing persons, and other law enforcement was there this morning. They were lucky to have gotten a bloodhound as all of them are in NOLA but this one.
Problem is they don't live far enough in the country so the dog got confused with all the scents and it being a somewhat old trail anyway.
I'm setting here with hope but it's dwindling by the hour. Stella promised to call the minute they heard something.
Stella had to send Jessica and Michael over to some friends because Jessica doesn't understand what's going on with her brother and Michael has his own problems.
I asked Stella how Jessica was doing and she's about the same.
Even though Jessica's rectum was permanently disabled she is bleeding there again.
The Dr's seem to think that means she is bleeding from her small intestine as well even though I don't know how they would know without tests or something.
Stella was running on no sleep since yesterday and was too concerned over Justin to be too keen on remembering everything about Jessica at the moment but told me what she could.
Needless to say we are all at about our wit's end.
My kids at their worst never gave me this much trouble, I'd of probably beat them to death if they had tried, or wanted too anyway.
I know that trouble just plagues some families and I guess that Stella's is one of them, I don't think I could handle it if I we lived close to them.
In ways I hate that they live so far away and in others I am glad they do.
When I get enough I tend to do stupid sh't and that wouldn't be good for any of us.
Any spare Smoke or Prayers y'all got laying around would sure be appreciated.
