Sorry to have to let y'all know again.
Stella called me a little while ago to let me know. Actually she called yesterday and we were gone but I had an idea of what had happened, Stella's call just confirmed it.
Jessica has a couple of problems this time both somewhat serious.
First of all she has a double infection around where her colostomy bag connects, don't recall what Stella called it.
It is not only infected with a bacteria it is also infected with a fungus.
Then secondly Jessica decided on her own that if she quit eating and drinking that she wouldn't throw up anymore. Poor kid is still throwing up a lot of what she eats and drinks.
Consequently by not eating and drinking Jessica has thrown her blood work for a huge loop. Her electrolytes are all askew as well as both the red and white counts.
Back on the IV's for Jessica.
Stella said she had hopes that Jessica wouldn't be there but for three or four days. I hope that her stay isn't any longer.
