O.T. Jessica update, July 26th, 05.

Don't have a lot but Jessica is *maybe* somewhat better. She has all the tubes and such out so feels better with just that alone.
Stella said that when she left to go to work it was hard because Jessica had been up and didn't look well.
Jessica isn't eating much today, says her stomach hurts. Also complains of stomach hurting when she eats a decent size meal, even a small meal brings on pain, just not as much.
The Drs are trying to wean her off the steroids and we'll see what happens with that.
Also trying to wean her of the Dilaudid and another pain killer but aren't having much luck.
Stella is hopeful that Jessica will be able to go home Friday but right now it is wait and see.
For some reason Jessica is having soaking sweats and that can be caused by several things.
The Drs are looking into it Stella says.

Guess that's about it. Please keep the Smoke and Prayers coming.
I'll update again when I know more. Thanks for being there gang. Y'all help me more than you know to keep my sanity while this is going on!
Also thanks to all that emailed for Jessica's address to send a card, much appreciated.:)

Glad to hear that there is some progress. We will keep Jessica and Stella in our prayers...
 
Sounds like the possiblity of an upturn....the prayers continue for Jessica and the whole family.
