In answer to y'alls queries and with my heartfelt thanks for y'alls concern.
Stella doesn't communicate well with me when she thinks it's going to stress me out so I know when she doesn't call or email that something is wrong anyway. Makes a lot of sense ainnit.
But anyway I got the answer below after a very short and curt email to her,,,,
"I Damned Sure Need An Update!!!!"
Hi Daddy
I am sorry I haven't given you an update Jessica just got home yesterday from the hospital she was in there for a week her colitis flared up in the stump of her rectum and she had another blood infection. At least that got under control pretty quickly....We are trying to get her well enough to be reconnected but it doesn't look like it is going to happen any time soon...She is so tired of it all and I can understand that....She is on antibiotic IV until the 6 th of June....She is still on her TPN at night but they are stepping her down....her electrolytes were all screwed up when she was admitted along with all her other blood work....Hopefully this will all end but I really don't feel like it will.......I am doing fine and am just tired.....mentally and physically but I will do what I have to do.....Dallas is still healing from his knee surgery hopefully he will go back very soon ...the doc released him for light duty only and his job wont let him come back until he is fully released for full duty.....Justin is in Georgia with his Uncle Kenny for a couple of weeks and Jr. is fine he stayed with me in the hospital with Jessica...which really surprised me....he has become quite a young man......well that is all the update I have....time keeps marching on and on.......Let me know what your doc says about your back I really hate to see you have back surgery but living with pain is no good either.....
I will talk to you later have to get ready for work..........YUCK>.........
Love You Always

And sadly enough just a few minutes ago I got a call from Stella telling me that she was on the way back to the hospital with Jessica.
Jessica is running 104* temp and bleeding rectally again.
Jessica has 15 centimeters of anal stump left from when the Drs removed her colon. That 5-15/16" is what is causing all the trouble. If the Drs absolutely have to remove that small amount of tissue then Jessica will be wearing a colostomy bag the rest of her life.
Needless to say that possibility doesn't set at all well with her; or any of the rest of us for that matter.
:grumpy:
I'd sure like to see one of the miracles that happens from time to time around the world with very ill or deformed kids happen to Jessica.
She has put up with enough crap to last ten lifetimes!
