Teresa is very lucky that the bite didn't break the skin. I wonder if they still give rabies shots in the stomach.

Let's face it; it's war all the time.
These are times paranoids like me thrive; when Bats attack, Wolves and Grizzly's more valuable than people, cows go mad and men's sperm count drops by 50% in a single generation. Flouride?

As Hunter S Thompson one said, "One step over the line? Sweet Jesus; wait till he see's those g-damned bats."

I set a little brown bat free once, it was perched in the elevator at work. He made a lot of noise, but I think I got him out unhurt. They attack out of fear, it probably wanted to get out the front window and she was in the way. Or it was rabid...

Then there was that bat tower that someone built on sugarloaf key. They thought the bats would help to contain the mosquitos. So they built a bat tower and imported bats; then the bats all flew away during the first night and never came back.

That's because someone thought they knew what bats need to survive......obviously, the bats disagreed. Cute story, nonetheless. There are MANY species of bats, many of those with very specialized dietary requirements...fruit bats, pollen eaters, moth eaters, etc...and perhaps these bats had no taste for skeeters. :D
