Sometimes Oklahoma just isn't half bad!!!! :D
Spring is just around the corner!!!!! Yeee Haaawwww!!!!! :D  :D

Except for the Alberta Clipper coming up our of nowhere that'll dump snow and ice all the way clean down to Brownsville, Texas. :p :p :p

I remember one trip we had snow falling - on the 4th of July.

Bro, don't forget that whomever/occupant that our prayers go to up there has the same rotten sense of humor as he gave us. :D :D :D

My corner is further away than your corner, Yuh nSuh. :grumpy:

We got snow, turning to rain, turning to snow, turning to ice when the temps drop.

But I'm sooooooooo happy for you. :p

Well the weatherman can always be wrong. In April 1996 When I was stationed at NAS Dallas,Tx, I was leaving to go home to West Tx (Odessa) on emergency leave it was raining as I left, spent the night at Dyess AFB (Abilene). When I got up the next morning it was snowing. But Im ready for spring myself, although for Kansas the winter has been mild so far. only 2 bad snow/ice storms.

Yup, it's now 12:03 a.m. and we are in a thunderstorm and it is 55* and chilly. Beeeyooottiiifuuullll day though and s'pposed to be pretty later today.:D I can dig it until it turns 25* and snowy next week and freezes all the plants in bloom.:grumpy: :(

supposed to be up to high 60s, low 70s for us today, Yvsa. Started out wet, foggy. Already clearing out.....darn desk job...:(

Yvsa deserves his day of sun. IN the months to come, he'll have to hide like a gopher in a hole when the Tornados come.

Hehehehe, and so will Dan! Dan you got your 'Fraidy Hole' dug yet? :D

Actually we don't have a hole too hide in. :grumpy: When it gets really rough, when you can hear the "Freight Train Roar" of the tornado, we close all the bedroom doors and hunker down in the bathroom. It is the strongest part of the house.
We have only had too hunker down once in the last 25 years here and that was 1994 when 'The Killer Tornado' wiped out half of Catoosa.:(
The BIG Tornado had spawned several smaller ones around it.
One of them went right beside our house and took a bunch of our neigbors shingle's and shutter's off of his house, took the top out of his somewhat large Maple tree, and twisted a fair sized tree down in the fence line behind our houses.
We had a couple of broken windows from the hail and lots of vinyl siding damage from the same hail as well. And enough shingle damage too get us a new roof for free.
It's a crap shoot and we were very fortunate too have not been in the direct path of the BIG one!!!!
The odds of getting hurt in a Tornado is about the same as getting bit by a shark when swimming in the oceans methinks.:D ;)
