I met this young man after I came back from Iraq the last time. We spent many hours talking about Gods plan for our lives and the direction we should be going. He is a former Ranger and had done time in Iraq. Long story short he started an aid organization helping Syrian refugees and was kidnapped a year ago and is now the latest being threatened by these animals on video.
He is a good man who was attempting to help those that needed it in spite of the danger. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

It shows amazing compassion for a man to go to a far away land and attempt to help folks. The intolerance in that part of the world is very saddening and alarming. I miss the days when the leadership in the United States would move mountains to protect and save it's citizens.
