Indeed it did!
We had returned the rollator I had rented for a month about 3 weeks ago and since the one I ordered was on backorder and was supposed to be here the 16th and wasn't, and then supposed to be here the 24th we decided to go back and rent it even at their exhorbitant price of $50.00 a month that we really didn't have.
However your health is the absolute most important thing you have so we decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and rent it for another month as I have been slowly going downhill without our daily walk.:grumpy:
We got all ready to go and then after we rented it to go on to the zoo for a nice walk. They wouldn't take our bankcard!
They will only take a real credit card so that if someone doesn't bring their property back they have a means of recovering their losses.
We didn't like it but could understand their policy. Too damned many crooks in the world today and it makes it hard on the honest people.:(
Anyway when we got home there was a notice on the door from FedEx that they had tried to deliver a package.
I didn't get to excited as the place I ordered the walker from ships UPS, but I called the customer service gal I was assigned and indeed the walker did come in the 16th and was FedExed direct to me the very next day!
The notice said we could pick up the package after 5:30 p.m. so when it came time we boogied down and picked it up.
This walker/Rollator was well worth the wait! It has a 375 pound weight limit, a padded seat and a really good sized basket to hold drinks and such and is wide enough so that I don't have to scrunch my fat ass into the seat between the handle bars! :D
Tomorrow if it ain't raining we are off walking again.:D
The Great Mystery was truly with us today! I love it when They make themselves known in such a way!
By not being able to rent the one we went after we saved several dollars, always a good thing!
I love serendipity!!!!:D

Great news, Yvsa, I was wondering how your walking and health were going!! :)

Good news, Buffalo.... :D

I want pictures of you, Barb, and the velociraptor...woods or zoo, no matter.

Kis

OK, maybe the dog, too.

Ken you can see them here. It is a four wheeled walker with 8" diameter wheels so it can be used outside. I took the one I had rented into the woods one day just to try it and it did well. I don't know about the one I bought as it is a few inches wider and heavier. I'm down to 271 right now after taking extra diuretics for three days. I wa 294 the day before yesterday, obviously mostly water weight. It was getting hard to breathe again which is why we decided to go ahead and rent the walker today and then serendepity happened.:D

Edit:
And Ken, don't worry about what other people think! You know your abilities better than anyone and these tools are a fantastic help to quality of life!
And when you do decide to look into something please do it online and then check local stores to see the models in person. This rollator retails for $360.00!!!! At least that was the price they were asking in one store where we physically looked them over.
Highway robbery for the folks who can afford it least!:( :grumpy:
I don't know if this company ships internationally but they're good people to do business with. They have the motorized scooters among other things!
I'll do business with them again for sure and recommend them highly!:D

yea pixxxx!!
I'll try to get some pix soon. It's supposed to be rainy here for the next couple of days so will wait until the weather clears.

I wonder if I can post them now that I'm a basic member? Something was said about a certain amount of attachments but I'm not sure if that's pix or not.

Yvsa, I think you need to be a Gold Member to post. Send pix to me anytime via e-mail and I will be happy to upload them for you!

Great to hear about your new found mobility. Just getting outside can make your whole day when you have been limited to staying indoors too long.

Best of luck with your new vehicle!

Regards,

Norm

great news, Yvsa. pics would indeed be nice.

You could probably zip tie a knife to the side
:D

I was thinking a .50cal electric mini-gun, but alas there's the difference between Canadian and American thought processes ;) :p :D

Congrats on the new wheels!! looks like a really handy rig:)

Glad to know you’re feeling better with the exercises Yvsa.
And remember to rotate the tires and change oil regularly on your Rollator. ;)

What's with the Mauirob3? Did you lose your original password or are you a clone?

Durn clones. I don't like clones. :grumpy:

:D

ta for the info yvsa i will look at that site, and yes i will get one once i sort out which model is best.
only thing is a lance would probably be more appropriate then rather than a khuk. ha ha ha

We walked 2 3/4 miles yesterday, Friday after picking the machine up Thursday afternoon, at the zoo and it pooped me out good! I slept most of the evening and up into the night, part of it at the computer, which no doubt explains why I'm up at this time of the night. :)

I can see it now! A man from OZ creates a new sport. Scooter Jousting! It has became the rage among infirm people! :D :D :D :D :D
