alright where is Oahu, is it near Bodo in the north? sorry i thought the 'ou' would stick in Bodo.
 
Joe I googled Oahu......are you going to the third largest island in the Hawaiian Chain? Tell us more......I am with you on oge14 avatar.
 
bodo is in norway, a friend of mine is from there. the way talk's about the place you could probably find a few nice kukri's there. have a good trip.
 
Hey Gunfix; probably I will be heading to the big island on Monday (not sure yet), I won't bring my Busse family members but maybe we could exchange some Busse-kin knowledge.

I'll be staying in Waikiki for a week. Probably not taking any bussekin either, just in case my luggage gets messed up. Have had that happen before.

I honeymoon'd there last october, was one of the best places I have ever been to, you will have a great time. Make sure you dedicate 2 days to seeing everything at Pearl Harbor. If you havent been before, its a pretty moving experience.
 
If all the people start to bug you and ya need a littl space head up to the north shore, Haleiwa, way more chill...then if you drive west until the road ends you can actually get away from almost all people...go for a walk...nice beaches, etc (dangerous waters...watch it). No, I dont live there, I'm way further SW than HI...but I go there often...I'll be there in a few weeks.
 
The north shore is alot more relaxed. I'm going to try to make it up there some. Depends on work.
